Dr. Ashley N. Mabry, DNP, ARNP, PMHNP-BC

Founder, Owner & Clinical Director


Dr. Ashley Mabry founded Balance Psychiatric Clinic with a vision of creating accessible, holistic, and patient-centered mental health care. With more than 20 years of medical experience and extensive psychiatric training, she provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management for individuals ages 13 and older.

Ashley believes in treating the whole person by emphasizing sleep hygiene, nutrition, exercise, therapy, and lifestyle improvements alongside psychiatric care. Her compassionate and evidence-based approach helps individuals achieve stability, recovery, and long-term wellness.

Brittany is an experienced Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker based in our Shelton office. Michael Marshall is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate based in our Shelton office with a background in wilderness therapy, somatic healing, and rites-of-passage work. He works with children, adolescents, and adults, focusing on trauma, identity development, relationships, and life transitions.

Megan Marini is a mindfulness-based counselor based in our Shelton office who helps clients reconnect with themselves and find meaningful healing. With more than 30 years of experience in mental health, Amy Jacobsen provides compassionate counseling services at both our Shelton and Belfair locations. She specializes in trauma, grief, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive thoughts, gender identity support, and life transitions.

She utilizes CBT, trauma-informed care, mindfulness-based therapy, narrative therapy, and creative therapeutic interventions to help clients achieve lasting growth.

Lauretta Gomez,

Lauretta Gomez has been serving individuals facing behavioral health challenges since 2013 and provides care at our Belfair Location. Her strengths-based and client-centered approach incorporates CBT-informed strategies, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care.

With over 35 years of experience, she offers clinical leadership and mentorship to support the highest standards of care.

Her expertise includes CBT, DBT, EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and adult psychotherapy.
